7.0 MISCELLANIOUS
The following objectives should be taught and assessed as appropriate during the year:
7.1		Utilize the scientific method.
7.2		Develop a model of an object that addresses an objective in the 5th grade Science curriculum.
7.3		Examine the role of technology in the advancement of science.
7.4		Address career readiness in each of the areas of science as they are studied in the 5th grade.
7.5		Understands and demonstrates the qualities of Character Counts: fairness, respect, responsibility, citizenship, fairness, and trustworthiness.
7.6		Demonstrate personal responsibility using interpersonal communication skills.
7.7		Express needs, wants, etc.
7.8		Active listening skills
